Good food at Saratoga Lodge
Pheasant in the grounds of the Country House.
Delicious home cooked food, always sourced locally. For those who choose to eat their evening meal at Saratoga Lodge, a real treat awaits them. We take pride in ensuring that as many of the ingredients that go into our meals are either produced at home or locally sourced. All our food is home cooked and we try to make sure that coming back to the Country House to eat after a day out and about is well worth it.
Honey from our own bees, eggs from our own free range hens, vegetables, fruit and herbs from our garden as well as Peter's Fruit and Vegetable Shop in Templemore are all used.
Our meat is sourced from Carey's butchers of Templemore and fresh fish is available from Daly's of Thurles. For those who enjoy their game, venison, pheasant, snipe and duck are available in season. We endeavour to cater for all tastes and preferences - including vegetarian dishes.
No matter what you would like to eat we will do our best to provide it, and you can be sure the meal will be often home-grown or otherwise locally produced, and always home-cooked.
